President Boko Swears In New Transport Ministers

President Duma Boko has sworn in the newly appointed Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Keoagile Atamelang, alongside his Assistant Minister, Letlhogonolo Barongwang.

The swearing-in ceremony marks the beginning of their responsibilities at a time when Botswana faces several pressing national challenges requiring decisive leadership and effective service delivery.

President Boko stated that the two appointees are expected to serve the country with dedication, integrity, and a strong commitment to improving the lives of Batswana.

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure plays a critical role in Botswana’s development, particularly through the provision and maintenance of transport networks and services that support economic activity and improve connectivity across the nation.

The President urged the newly appointed ministers to remain focused on delivering results and ensuring the ministry responds effectively to the needs and expectations of the public.

Atamelang and Barongwang will now work closely with government stakeholders and other partners to advance the country’s transport and infrastructure priorities.
