VICE PRESIDENT GAOLATHE ENGAGES PARLIAMENT ON SETTING ASIDE OF THE VEGETABLE BAN

The Vice President Ndaba Gaolathe, who doubles as the Minister of Finance, has this afternoon detailed that the vegetable ban was bad economics. The ban resulted in increased vegetable and food prices for the consumer which is presumably not what was intended.

This answer by the Vice President was given in response to an enquiry from a Member of Parliament (MP).
