Govt avails P200million for Creative Sector

The Botswana government has announced that P200 million from the Alcohol Levy will be used to empower the creative industry by procuring content.

This represents an increased figure from P2million as disclosed by President Duma Boko whilst delivering the State of the Nation Address (SONA) this afternoon in Parliament.

President Boko said this is a deliberate move by the government to improve the arts and also help in creating employment.
